Most sites use under 1/2 GB of data transfer per month, while the standard plan allows for 10 times that at 5 GB. So most ecommerce sites fit under the standard hosting plan. The usual reason for needing more GB of transfer is having a lot of high-resolution videos and images. If you start out with the Standard Plan, and you being to use up more GB of transfer, you can upgrade to the Gold or Platinum Plan. Custom plans are available for sites that don’t fit under the Platinum Plan.

The Hosted Cart plan is mainly designed for customers who already have a website hosted elsewhere and would like to add a shopping cart to their current website.
